Corazón Ancestral was born in 2023 from a deep yearning: the need to find, while far from home, a shop for Mexican fashion and accessories that was truly authentic and of exceptional quality. What began as a family dream transformed into a living project that honors our traditions and allows us to carry a little piece of Mexico wherever we may be.
Our pieces feature the embroidery of the eight regions of Oaxaca, each with its own language of threads and colors. We also work with Otomi embroidery—a technique that, for us, is more than just a borrowed craft: it is a cultural legacy that runs through our own family, with roots in the Otomi region. Every piece that leaves these hands carries that dual heritage.
We collaborate with artisans and expert hands that preserve techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Beyond textiles, we work with materials with the same intention: jewelry pieces in red and black clay, .925 sterling silver, and natural stones; copal wood carved and hand-painted using the alebrije technique; and hand-stitching on fabric and leather. Each material is chosen for what it represents, not just for how it looks.
